Nobody Can Understand You But I...

Nobody Can Understand You But I…

That's a false statement. Get this fact straight to your head that:

NOBODY CAN UNDERSTAND YOU EXCEPT YOURSELF!

The Raw Convo

What you go through mentally or physically is just you. Not a single person out there can get what you feel or go through.

That’s the bitter truth and you can’t do anything about this.

Your long lost trauma that is in your head

Your memories that hurts your heart

Your people who make you feel bad at most times

Your family who doesn’t believe in you

Your siblings who throw tantrums at you

Your life that isn’t so smooth

Your mental health that is suffering without you knowing

Your physical health that is at the verge of making you fall down!

And lots of more problems like these have tied you up in the tangles of despair.

This is normal.

Yes.

Because it happens to most of us.

That's called hard times according to my perception.

But can anybody in your circle feel what you go through in such hard times or moments?

Unfortunately, no.

It’s you and your problems wandering in the desert plains where you find nobody to quench your thirst except your efforts to get through the plain!

Which is quite tough.

Enough to make you feel like dying.

So what do you do in such times?

You give time to yourself to get through this.

You help yourself.

Yes, because nobody else can help you except you.

In today’s post, we will discuss the exact thing:

How Do You Help Yourself?

As someone who has recently suffered a traumatic phase and went through the hardest times of my life, I can share my real-time ways you can apply to help yourself in your hard times.

The quick prompt is: it’s never easy to go through your tough times. Never. But it’s always possible. Tough times pass - they never stay forever!

So, don’t you ever lose hope on witnessing a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Because there’s always a light waiting for you after your dark times.

Anywho, let’s dive directly into the ways of how you can help yourself feel better during hard times.

Acknowledge Your Feelings

It's important to recognize and accept your emotions.

Don’t try to suppress or ignore them, as this can lead to further stress and anxiety. Instead, acknowledge how you're feeling and allow yourself to experience those emotions.

The Kinza Qasim

For example, if you are feeling anxious. Hold on. Just don’t ignore anxiety. Stop for a few moments. Take deep breaths at first.

Stop for a while and think about what’s causing the anxiety. If it’s something that you can’t control, let it go and keep on taking deep breaths so you can feel better and less anxious.

And if it’s something you can control, create a mindmap on a piece of paper solving the problem that’s causing you this anxiety and take action.

That’s how you acknowledge your feelings.

Just don’t go with the flow. Feel what you feel to make sure your mindset isn’t messed up 24/7.

The Kinza Qasim

I/t’s necessary to feel good and be your only supporter when nobody else understands you.

Practice Self Care

Taking care of yourself is crucial during difficult times. This includes getting enough sleep, eating healthy, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation, such as reading, listening to music, or spending time in nature.

Because when it comes to understanding yourself, you need to take care of your likes as well.

To feel understood, you should treat yourself with things that you like.

The Kinza Qasim

If you like going out, go out. If you like shopping, go shop for your stuff. If not these, do anythinh that makes sense to you and make sure you tell yourself that you care.

Reach Out To Others

Don't be afraid to ask for help or support from friends, family, or a mental health professional.

Talking about your problems with someone else can help you gain perspective and find solutions.

The Kinza Qasim

And sometimes, it is the best way to feel better about yourself. Because, a conversation with someone you have a soft connection with is no less than a therapy. It makes you feel cared for while they listen to you.

And even if you don’t have enough connections, just go out and reach out to others.

Others as in any stranger who you come across during your day. If they match your vibe, talk to them. It feels so much better than ever.

So next time, you feel bad about yourself and you think nobody understands you. Just try a little and make sure to talk to them.

Practice Mindfulness

Mindful meditation can help you stay present and focused, reducing stress and anxiety.

The Kinza Qasim

This is something that you will always give 100 marks to. Sitting for a while in a place where there is no noise can make you feel so much better. You just have to focus.

Focus on your breathing while you empty your mind from unnecessary stuff.

The Kinza Qasim

Trust me on this, it helps a lot in feeling better. And above all, it is one of the best methods of taking care of yourself - your mental health, precisely!

Look For Positive Things

Even during hard times, it's possible to find positive things in your life. Make a list of things you're grateful for or focus on small things that bring you joy.

Remember that everyone experiences difficult times at some point in their lives, and it's important to be kind to yourself and give yourself time to heal and recover.

Healing takes time. If you have gone through something that was harsh on your mental health or even physical health, give yourself some time and it will feel much better!

Because again,

Healing takes time and it is absolutely fine!

The Kinza Qasim

The Bottom Line

So what have we learned today?

Nobody can understand you better than yourself.

The Kinza Qasim

Just don’t be harsh on yourself.

Instead, take care of yourself better and make yourself feel loved.

Because you deserve it. Nobody can make you feel more loved than you, yourself, can.

So, take out time for yourself and begin understanding yourself better. That is.
